The rights of women
The conclusion of marriage contracts, as well as many other things, has come to us from the West. Wide soul to slavic natures it is not pleasant to much, but the conclusion of such contract – business voluntary. As marriage is often original transaction with which help someone corrects the financial position, and someone gets necessary moral advantages, it can be settled rules. By the way, in Europe and America in it for a long time any more do not see anything reprehensible. Even if at the future spouses anything is not present, it is supposed, that they will live somewhere (for example, in the apartment bought on credit, at parents, etc.), somehow to earn, and look, years through 10 at divorce the serious quarrel as now all in common acquired to divide will inflame.

Strangely enough, in a modern society traditional role stereotypes, rigidly and differently formulated for men and women operate. Human Rights Watch has published the detailed report on discrimination of women on the Ukrainian labour market. Both the state structures, and the private companies in the announcements of vacancies regularly prefer men, is spoken in the report. For many years Ukraine on a step has not come nearer to the European standards of protection of the female rights. The European experience has given the chance to many countries to solve successfully problems of women, to reach gender equalities in a society.
For today, on informal data, about sixty percent of women suffer from violence. Nevertheless the official statistics does not exist, and the position of the government concerning this problem remains for the public secret. At press conference in Kiev representatives of the Ukrainian Association of the International Amnesty (UAMA) have stated the concern a position of the Ukrainian government concerning a problem of violence against women.
Position of the woman in a society throughout many centuries changed in the most different directions. In matriarchy its value was dominating. During an epoch of knights it was a worship subject, but any more did not play a political life of a society of essential value. Gradually men have more and more superseded women on the second plan, having limited sphere of its interests and influence by education of children and housekeeping conducting. It, naturally, has caused indignation of many formed women. They have begun struggle for the rights.
